Margaret Athey
Margaret has been attending folk clubs on and off since the 60s and has been a regular attender at Cramlington for the past ten years. Only recently has she stepped out of the shadows of harmonising as part of the ‘Cramlington Choir’ to perform much loved songs, on stage by herself.
Her repertoire is eclectic in nature, ranging from songs of the 20’s through the blues and Bob Dylan to songs from the banks of her native Tyneside.
