Terry Fletcher
Terry likes all styles of music. Keith Taylor once said "Music is like a diamond - it has many facets". We think he was having one of his Zen moments. But it's true and anything melodic appeals to him.
If he has a particular favourite it is the singer/songwriter and the more miserable the song the happier he is! Some of his favourite musicians (in no particular order) are: Loudon Wainwright, Ron Sexsmith, Joni Mitchell, Tom Waits, Gretchen Peters, Ewen Carruthers and Pete Scott. To Terry lyrics are the key to a good song and all of these are superb lyricists as well as great songwriters. Since attending Pete Scott's song writing workshops he has started to write and perform my own songs. As well as being a resident at Cramlington Folk club he also plays in a trio with Sean Taylor and Paul Crown.
